A portrait painting can be created from live sittings and/or photographs. The photos are preferably taken by me, so client and I may choose together the most suitable of them, and make the agreement for type, medium and size of the portrait. Photos can be submitted via e-mail attachment or regular postal mail. Producing excellent reference photos is a critical step in creating a beautiful portrait. Extra photos are also suggested as these can serve as a reference for coloring, close-up details, and personality. |
